Our friends at The Drama Merchant regularly bring The Radioplay Hour to GCLT.

The Radioplay Hour is a retro audio experience, that transports the audience back to the 1930-50’s when radio was a family medium.

Performers in The Radioplay Hour are ‘radio actors’ who portray the characters in a ‘live’ radio broadcast. Standing in front of a microphone and using voice, facial expressions, costumes, props and a little improv, with scripts in front of them, for reference, the team perform an old fashion radioplay, or audio story live… right before your eyes.

The Radioplay Hour: The Thin Man
With three microphones and a sound effect table you the audience, can watch or listen, as the cast and crew perform an old fashion radio show at GCLT! Complete with music and news of the times, this episode of The Radioplay Hour, we bring to life the story of The Thin Man by Dashiell Hammett.

Set in New York City, December 1932, a former private detective is drawn, mostly against his will, into investigating a murder, a rather grotesque family, and various.
Wednesday 26 February, 1pm to 2pm
