Lord of the Flies

Lord of the Flies

A stage play based on the classic novel

William Golding’s classic Lord of the Flies narrates the story of a group of juveniles who become stranded on a deserted island. They establish regulations and a framework for governance, but due to the absence of any grown-ups to provide guidance, the youngsters ultimately become aggressive and cruel, with rising tension caused by fear and power.

The disturbing tale portrays the children’s journey into turmoil and indicates that the inherent nature of humanity is barbarous.
